UKCF is on a distinguished road
Default Moorfields Farm Fisheries, Old Goole, East Yorkshire

Address - Moorfields Farm Fisheries, Old Goole, East Yorkshire, DN14 8BQ
Tel: 07710817150
SatNav DN14 8BQ
Ticket Prices - £6 adult, £4 concessions
Stock - Mixed coarse, including carp, roach and bream

This privately owned farmland fishery boasts one pleasure fishing lake and two match lakes. Pleasure Lake suits all and is home to carp topping 20lb, ghosties to 10lb, hybrids, tench and some barbel to 4lb, bream and ide to 3lb, roach to 2lb and crucians to 1lb 8oz.

Small Match has carp to 9lb, ide to 2lb, loads of skimmers to 1lb 8oz, roach to 1lb and some crucians. Large Match has carp to 14lb but mainly 2 to 6lb, ide and barbel to 4lb, perch and loads of skimmers to 2lb, chub to 1lb 8oz, roach to 1lb and a few tench. There are a few rudd in all the lakes and odd other species too.

On the Pleasure Lake try ledgering pellets for the bigger carp or surface fish, especially with crust in the evenings. Any type of float, feeder or ledgering tactics will produce with simple baits, there's no need to complicate things.

On the Match Lakes pole fishing is the way to go with chopped worm, caster, maggot or soft 4-6mm pellets. Micro pellets are always a top feed. Reduce the amount you feed and the size of your hook bait in colder weather.

Tickets on the bank, adults £6, adult accompanied u16s and registered disabled £4. Disabled access, no keepnets, barbless hooks only. Toilets on site, and food available some days.

From J36, M62 pick up the A161 south, passing over the river into Old Goole. Turn right here into Cottingham Street, keep going and you will soon puck up the fishery signs.
