Opened in 1991, static and touring caravan facilities as well as camping are all available, along with five pools to fish. The disabled friendly venue suits all anglers.

The pools, Mallard, Horseshoe, Orfe, Kingfisher and Trevors span nigh on 200 swims between them and house quality carp of varying sizes to 26lb, bream and tench to 4lb, crucian carp and perch to 3lb plus other species such as ide, orfe, barbel and the like. Mallard possibly holds the bigger carp.

Tickets can be purchased on the bank. Prices are £6 for one rod, £8 for two. Under 14s are £5/£6. Food available. Disabled access. Toilets on site.

Leave the A5 (Shrewsbury bypass) and take the A488 signed Bishops Castle. Oass Hanwood then the Lea Cross Tavern on your left. After another 0.25 miles turn left, signed Plealey. After another 200 yards the fishery is on our right. Go through the yard and continue on to the car park and pools.
