This irregular shaped privately owned two-acre mixed fishery averages around 4ft deep. Boasting a few feature islands, it is a well known mixed fishery that contains carp up to 26lb with many of them around mid double-figures giving the angler a good chance of doing battle with numbers of them. Static caravan accommodation is available.

Best tactics are legered hair-rigged boilies for the carp, or pop ups or varying sizes of halibut pellets. Other carp methods include groundbait and method feeder with baits like paste, sweetcorn or bread. Surface sport can be brilliant on warm evenings or early morning; dog biscuit of crust are the baits to get on.

Day tickets are available on the bank and apply from dawn until dusk. Night fishing by strict prior appointment. Enquire about season permits. Disabled access. Barbless hooks only. No keepnets. Food outlets nearby. Toilet facilities. Open all year.

To get there, leave Cromer and head south on the A140 to Roughton roundabout. Turn right into Chapel Road and the fishery is signed on the left.
