A picturesque tree lined, two acre spring fed lake that dates back over 100 years, Lakeside fishery and campsite is located about four miles east of Wragby and one mile west of Baumber.

This is what pleasure angling is all about; tranquil rural surroundings where you are guaranteed to catch a wide variety of species, not just carp. The fishery is designed to appeal to all anglers, from specimen anglers through to those just wanting a peaceful day’s fishing.

There is a Lakeside cabin and also a 30ft static caravan overlooking the main* lake, which are both available for rent. There is also a camp site for caravans or tents.

The Main Lake is an old quarry covering 2 acres, with 13 pegs. It contains carp to 35lb, tench and bream to 10lb, perch to 4lb, roach, rudd and chub to 3lb as well as silver bream, pike and eels.

Ivor's Pond has 8 pegs, and contains tench and bream to 5lb, perch to 4lb as well as roach, rudd, chub, silver bream and ghost carp. All fish have been bred on site and are native to Lakeside.

From Lincoln take the A158 Skegness Road, go through the village of Wragby and LAKESIDE is located approximately four miles on the left.

From Horncastle take the A158 to Lincoln, go through the village of Baumber and LAKESIDE is located approximately one mile on the right.

Day tickets are £5 per day for adults, and £4 concessions. For more details on this fishery, visit their website.
