The crucians will accept float fished bits of meat or corn fished close to the bank.

Tickets are £5 per day across the board, for up to two rods. Tickets on the bank with fishing from 7am to 9pm or dusk, whichever is sooner. Night fishing by strict prior arrangement only at £8. 24-36 hour permits are £18 for up to two rods. Disabled access. Barbless hooks only. No carp in keepnets. Toilet/shower facilities. From Dorchester take the A37 to the outskirts of the town and pick up the A352 heading north. Continue for just over eight miles to Cerne Abbas and then towards Sherborne to Lyons Gate. The fishery and Caravan Park entrance is signed on the left. Continue on the track to the lakes and parking.
