Set just seven miles from Norwich, this privately owned, established venue has four attractive lakes to fish. The Pleasure Lake has carp to 19lb, bream to 10lb, tench to 6lb, perch to 3lb 8oz, golden tench, orfe and chub to 3lb, roach and rudd to 2lb 8oz and crucians to 1lb 8oz.
The Top Lake is home to carp to 18lb, chub and tench to 3lb plus roach, rudd, brown goldfish and skimmers, all topping 1lb. Match Lake is for matches only and contains carp to 16lb, chub and tench to 3lb with roach, rudd, crucians and skimmers to 1lb 8oz. The Training Lake is for the 'learners' and houses small carp, brown goldfish, roach and rudd.
Ticket prices are £7 for adults, with OAP's, U16s and registered disabled £6. A beginners session on the Training Lake is only £3. Permits from the on-site Barford Tackle before fishing. Angling coach available. Disabled access. Barbless hooks only. No keepnets. Open all year, closed on Mondays.
To get there, leave Norwich and head west on the B1108 towards Watton. At Barford go over the river and turn right, then right again at the T-junction. The fishery is well signed just out of the village, on your right.
