Poppleton Lakes offers rod-bending sport of the highest calibre. Laid out in a snake design, House Lake No1 offers 25 pegs and provides lots of features to fish to. All the pegs are hard standing and within easy reach of the car park.
House Lake No.2 also has 25 pegs and delivers mixed carp and silverfish sport. Doughnut Lake (25 pegs) is accessed from a convenient footbridge, while Railway Lake is the pool furthest from the car park. It has one long central island 13m out which makes it a great venue for pole anglers.
The biggest nets come from Horseshoe Lake, which has 31 pegs. This pool is renowned for its stock of bream and skimmers.
On the specimen pond both day and night fishing is allowed.
