Controlled by Glaston Manor AC, these three privately owned lakes are members only and day ticket's are not available. Carp run to around 15lb and there is good sport to be had with smaller ones too.
Glaston Manor AC has an open membership, and permits are £30 for adults, £15 for OAP's and registered disabled, and £10 for under 16's. Permits are available from the local tackle shop (Thatchers Pet and Tackle, Wells, Somerset, BA5 2DP).
To get there, from Glastonbury take the B3151, passing Meare, to Westhay. At Westhay turn left towards Shapwick. Take the first right towards Burtle and the fishery is on the right, through the locked gates, before you rwach the village.
