This progressive caravan site caters for the angler too. There are both tourers and static caravans which make for an ideal countryside break with fishing on a 21 swim pool.
It's a mixed fishery with carp to 20lb and a fair few doubles, tench to 8lb, bream to 6lb, perch to 2lb 8oz. There are also pike. Caravan storage is also available.
Tickets available on the bank. Adults £5, OAPs, registered disabled and u16s are £3.50. Half price for residents. Disabled access. Toilets. Food outlet nearby.
Leave the M62 at J34 and head south on the A19 passing Whitley. When you reach Balne crossroads, turn left onto Balne Moor road. Just before the railway bridge turn right to the caravan site and fishery.
