Controlled by Rhymney AS, this former colliery feeder pond is set 1,100 feet above sea level on the north east flank of Mynydd Fochriw, a rugged South Wales mountain. Day tickets are a bargain £3.50, and full membership to Rhymney AS is available for £22.50. This includes four lakes and two stretches of the Middle River Wye.
