This established modern day fishery boasts four moat shaped lakes - all with reed and tree features and similarly stocked. Depths are 5-6ft with shallower margins. Carp go to 30lb, tench to 9lb, bream to 8lb, barbel to 7lb, chub to 5lb, crucians to 3lb, perch to 2lb 8oz, ide, roach and orfe to 2lb, plus rudd to 8oz.
Tickets on the bank. Adults £5, registered disabled, OAPs and u16s £3. Fishing dawn until 9pm or dusk, whichever is sooner. No night fishing. Disabled access. Food at weekends. Toilets.

From York head north towards Thirsk on the A19. At Cross Lanes turn right towards Huby. After about 1.5 miles turn right again to the carp park and the fishery.
