Loggies Lake is a stunning 15-acre former gravel pit, under the durisdiction of the Mid Kent Fisheries. This members only water is tree fringed and has a few feature islands. It has a good stock of big carp with commons and mirrors running to 35lb. There's a sprinkling of tench and a few good pike too.
This is a Mid Kent Fisheries Tier 2 water (all venues except Conningbrook). Costs are: adults £275; partner or under 16s £140; OAP's and registered disabled £250. Tier 2 members can apply for membership of Tier 1 (includes Conningbrook) after 12 months in Tier 2. No keepnets. Disabled access. Toilets. Food outlet nearby. Open all year.
From Ashford take the A28 towards Canterbury. Pass the A252 Chilham turn and keep on the A28. Turn right into crossing and the River Stour then turn left. Pass the Match Lake to Loggies Lake and parking.
