An attractive three acre lake controlled by Amalgamated Fisheries Limited. The lake can accommodate up to 35 anglers and holds a good head of carp to 20lb, with a large number around the 10lb mark. Silver fish are abundant, there are some tench and also bream to 7lb.
Permit holders need to buy a day ticket before fishing, which is £1. Non permit holders can buy day tickets, in advance only. All permits can be bought from local tackle shops.
From Marlborough, take the main A4 towards Calne. Pass Cherhill and turn right at Quemerford, just before the Hayle Farm Hotel. Park on the perimeters of the car park and access the lake from there.
