UKCF is on a distinguished road
Default Donington Brick Pit, Donington, Lincolnshire

Address - Donington Brick Pit, Donington, Lincolnshire, PE11
Tel: 07790 300594
SatNav PE11 4XA (nearby properties on Town Dam Lane)
Ticket Prices - £5
Stock - Mixed coarse, including carp, bream and tench

This privately owned, rectangular shaped, well-established pit is a float fishing only venue, with average depths of 7.5ft. It's very much a mixed fishery with quality bream to 10lb and tench to 9lb 4oz.

Also on the cards are barbel to 9lb 4oz, chub to 2lb plus roach, rudd and crucians to 1lb. There's also a selection of carp to 20lb. Being a float fishing only venue simplifies the job all-round. As there's a reasonable depth all over, there's no need for long casting and species like tench often show very close-in to baits like corn or pellet.

Float fish caster, maggot or chopped worm for all sorts of species. Pellet and corn are possibly the better baits in the summer and autumn, and they will sort the bigger fish out.

Tickets are £5 across the board, and can be bought on the bank. No under 16s. Barbless hooks only, landing nets must be used for all fish. Toliets on site, food outlets nearby.

From Sleaford take the A17 heading south east to Bicker crossroads. Turn right here onto the A52 and go into Donington. In Donington turn left onto the A152 and go down Mill Lane until you reach Town Dam Lane. Turn left and look for the fishery sign behind a gate on your right.
