This very popular, well respected and well kept fishery boasts three lakes to fish. The waters here - Top, Middle and Bottom - are generously stocked with mixed species.

Top and Middle offer carp to 20lb, crucians and some tench to 3lb, lots of skimmers and roach to 1lb 8oz and a few other species. Bottom Lake includes carp to 22lb with lots of doubles and crucian crosses topping 4lb.

Day tickets are adults £8; OAP's, registered disabled and under 16s £5. Costs are for one rod - extra rods are £2 each. Tickets on the bank and day fishing applies from 7am to dusk. Night fishing is from 4pm to 7am and is by prior arrangement only. Tickets for this cost £10. Disabled access. Barbless hooks only. No keepnets. Toilets. Food outlets nearby.

From the by-pass or Braintree take the B1256 to Springwood (Industrial Estate) roundabout. From here pick up Rayne Road, heading for Rayne, and the fishery is on the right.
