Hartlepool DAC manage the fishing on these two reservoirs. Upper has carp to 27lb, bream to 14lb, eels to 7lb, perch to 2lb, roach to 12oz and winter pike to 15lb. Lower has bream to 8lb but lots of skimmers, some carp to 26lb, eels go bigger than 7lb, perch to 1lb 8oz and roach to 1lb.

Fishing is for members only, no day tickets. Full membership to Hartlepool DAC are: adult £70 including a one off £30 joining fee. Concessions are available. A special Hart Reservoirs only permit is available at £20 for a calendar year, no concessions. All permits from Anglers Services, 27 Park Road, Hartlepool, TS24 7PW.

Barbless hooks only, no keenest from March to June inclusive. Food outlets nearby.

From Middlesbrough/Billingham head north on the main A19. Turn right onto the A179 heading for Hartlepool. At Hart turn right and the reservoirs are on your left.
