Set on a family run, well-established, working farm near Saxmunham, this attractive venue houses a caravan park and four fishing lakes. The lakes vary in size but all offer excellent mixed sport, with similar species in each.

The carp run from all sizes with the bigger ones in the late teens. There's also a good head of other species with bream and tench topping 5lb, plus perch with good numbers of roach and rudd.

£5 for one rod, £8 for two. Anglers must ring between 7am and 9am to book in before they arrive that day. Fishing is then 9am to 8pm or dusk, whichever is sooner. Barbless hooks only. No keepnets. Toilets on site. Snacks on site. No night fishing. Landing nets must be dipped. Open all year.

From Ipswich take the A12 towards Lowestoft and turn right onto the A1094 Aldeburgh Road. After about one mile turn left at Snape Church crossroads, following the brown tourist sign. Then look for the sign to Marsh Farm Lakes on your left.
