Bridgwater AA control the fishing on this shallow series of reed and rush lined ponds. The two main ones are the largest at 3.5 acres but have very restricted angling room, while the 1.5acre pond can be fished all the way around.

The other pools are difficult to access. The clear waters hold tench to 4lb, bream 3lb, roach and rudd 1lb plus the odd stray carp.

Tickets are £6 in advance, these cover all Bridgwater AA waters. Adult season ticket is £30, OAPs, registered disabled £20, 12-16s £8 and 7-11s £6. Permits are for one rod. Permits, day tickets can be purchased at all local tackle shops. There is a food outlet and toilets nearby, fishing is dawn til dusk only.

From the M5, J24 take the A38 heading towards Bridgwater. Take the right turn into Showground Road, go under the M5 and you will come to the Boat and Anchor pub. Park at the pub and access the ponds via the level crossing, they are then on the right.
