This privately owned fishery has three different pools, Thrush, Lark and Linnet. All are around 6ft deep and have a similar stock of mixed fish. There are lots of carp in the 5-6lb class, but they do run as high as 22lb. There's perch to 3lb, chub to 2lb and crucians and tench to 1lb 8oz, as well as F1's and roach aplenty.

Pellets, corn and meat fish well for carp, whilst maggott and caster will help you bag up on silvers. In the summer, the margins are real hotspots, whilst the deeper areas will prove more fruitful in the winter months.

Tickets can be bought from the office on the way in, and all pellets must be purchased on site. Landing nets must be dipped in the receptacles before use, and it is barbless hooks only and no keepnets. The venue is disabled friendly and food is available on site.


To get there, from the South come off at the M6 at J20 and pick up the B5158 taking you directly into Lymm. Turn right, picking up the A6144, then turn left heading for Lymm Golf Club. You will pick up Whitbarrow Road leading you to the fishery.
