This well established, privately owned, disabled friendly fishery boasts three excellent lakes plus all the modern day amenities and more.

Top Lake is specimen based with carp to 30lb including a good head of upper 20s plus a few tench.

Bottom Lake has carp to 30lb, tench to 6lb, perch to 3lb, roach to 2lb and the odd winter pike.

Bridge Lake is a match type water with lots of carp to 10lb, plenty of tench to 5lb, perch and bream to 3lb, roach to 1lb plus rudd.

For the bigger carp leger hair rigged 15mm boilies or a decent sized pellet over a few freebies. In warmer weather the method feeder with corn or red dead maggot scores well for carp. On the Bridge Lake, float fish soft pellet, maggot, corn caster, punched bread or paste, over little and often loose feed, for mixed catches.

Tickets are £8 weekdays and £10 weekends from the fishery office/tackle shop.

From J7, M11 take the A414 to Chipping Ongar. Turn left here, onto the B184, passing Fyfield and the Black Bull pub. After the pub take the first right into School Lane, turn right at the T junction and the fishery is 150 metres down here on the left.
