A delightful 32 peg, two acre former irrigation pool set in the Staffordshire countryside. Fishing is for members only, with the cost £25 for a yearly ticket. The pool contains a good head of fish, with carp to 18lb, bream to 7lb, tench to 5lb and perch to 2lb.
Membership entitles fishing 365 days a year, and night fishing is allowed with prior permission. Catmeat and pellets are banned, although keepnets are allowed providing they are not overstocked. Larger carp should be returned to the water immediately however.
Clubs can hold matches on Stoppos at £4.00 per peg or £100.00 for the whole pool, although matches are only allowed at weekends. Members joining the fishery will be given a full list of proposed match dates when they join.
To get there, leave the M42 at the junction with the A444 and follow the signs for Seckington, towards Tamworth. Take the second right turn immediately after the Green Man pub in Clifton Campville. In Lullington Village turn left in front of the church and then first right into Coton in the Elms Road, with Westbrook farm on your left. After 200 yards the gated entrance to Stoppo's in on your right.
