This is a very productive members only Fakenham AC venue. Whereas the nearby Foxley Lake 1 is mainly carp, this rectangular shaped water is home to a mix of species.
There are carp running to 20lb, but this one is better known for it's large head of bream to 6lb plus skimmers, rudd to 1lb 8oz, roach to 1lb, fantails, hybrids, goldfish and maybe the occasional tench.

From Fakenham head towards Norwich on the A1067 for eleven miles, then turn left towards Foxley and then Themelthorpe. The lake is then on the right, just past the egg farm and behind the concrete pad.
