Specialising in fishing breaks, day tickets are also available at this large site. The self catering cottages compliment the delightful scenery and holidays include the use of lakes, indoor swimming pool, games room, tennis court and childrens play area. Pet friendly cottages available too.
Of the three day ticket waters Kingfisher has bream to 6lb, golden tench topping 5lb, roach to 1lb 8oz plus crucians and mirror carp. Mallard has carp to 24lb, tench to 5lb plus roach and rudd. Willow is home to tench to 6lb, plus carp, crucians, perch and rudd.
Farmyard Pond is for cottage guests' exclusive use. It is half an acre in size and has carp to 15lb as well as roach and rudd to a pound.
Day tickets are £7 per person, £4 after 5pm. Permits from the kiosk on the way in. Disabled access. Fod outlet nearby. Toilets on site.
From J27, M5 take the A361 dual carriageway, signed Barnstaple. Almost immediately, 500 yards, take the exit signed Sampford Peverell. Turn right at the mini-roundabout, then cross over the dual carriageway. Go straight over the next mini-roundabout, signed Holcombe Rogus. Take the next left signed Whitnage. Take the next right (Stonesland Cross) signed Whinage. Then at Pitt crossroads turn left. The fishery entrance is then signed, the third entrance on your left.
