The Roche AC control the fishing on this idyllic 6.5acre well sheltered, wooded lake. Access is for members only on this former clay pit where there are carp to around the 25lb mark, some winter pike to 25lb, tench to 6lb, perch to 4lb, roach to 1lb 8oz and a large head of rudd.

Roche AC adult membership is £85 for the year plus a one-off £50 joining fee. OAPs and registered disabled £42.50/£50; under 18s are £15 with no joining fee. Enquire about family membership. Under 12s fish for free but must be adult accompanied. A member can buy a guest ticket.

To get here, come off the A390 just to the North of St Blazy, at Tywardreath Highway, taking the turn for Eden Project. The fishery is down here, through the locked gate, on your left.
