Located on the respected Waveney Valley Lake complex Heartsmere Pool is a superb carp water which is two acres and fishable on a day ticket. It averages 7ft deep.
Stocks include a good head of 20lb carp to 29lb. There are also tench to 10lb 8oz and there's a good head of roach and rudd to 1lb, plus winter pike to over 10lb.
Pre-booking is advisable. £13 for 12 hours for up to three rods, plus £2 for a fourth rod. No keepnets. Food available. Toilets on site. Open all year.
From Norwich take the A140 and take the left turn (B1134) to Pulham Market. Continue on this road to Harleston, then into Wortwell village. The lakes are well signed in the middle of the village, near the Bell pub.
