Two lakes are available to fish at this attractive 32-acre park that successfully combines fishing with the zoo. The Specimen Lake is 8-acres and contains carp to 27lb with a decent head of 20s plus roach, bream, tench, perch and ide.

The Match Lake, 48 pegs, is another decent sized water with carp to 18lb, bream and tench to 6lb, ide to 4lb, roach and perch to 1lb 8oz plus some rudd, chub, F1s and crucians.

Tickets can be purchased on the bank and are £5 across the board. Fishing is 8am to 6pm or dusk, whichever is sooner. No night fishing. The Match Lake is open to pleasure anglers on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The Specimen Lake is open daily. Disabled access. Food available. Toilets on site.

The nearest tackle shop is R&R Sports in Bawtry. DN10 6JE.

From Retford take the A638 Bawtry Road. Turn right for Sutton-cum-Lound and follow the brown tourist signs to the animal park and fishery.
