Chequertree Fishery is situated on the outskirts of Bethersden, with three fine lakes to enjoy. Chequertree boasts more area of water than almost any other commercially run fishery. It is extremely rare to be able to offer both trout and coarse fishing, and rarer still to offer such amenities as fishing lodges, caravan and camping facilities, and bankside disabled facilities.
Chequertree Fishery has been established for over twenty years. The facilities compare extremely well with other commercially run fishing lakes in the UK, and so attract day visitors, including open match competitions, and Angling Club match days, as well as bringing to the area week and weekend visitors.
The lakes are well stocked with Common, Mirror, Crucian, Leather and Grass Carp, Trout, Rudd, Roach, Bream, Tench, Pike and Perch.
