Under the auspices of Cadland Fishery these two pools are set on the fringes of the North Solent Nature Reserve. A disabled-friendly venue, stocks include carp to 20lb, tench to 6lb, bream to 5lb, perch and roach to 3lb, crucian carp to 1lb plus a few rudd and chub.

From the bigger carp try legering halibut pellets or boilies, surface fishing dog biscuits can score. When surface fishing don't present your bait within a metre of the lily pads or reeds. Float fish corn for the tench. Use a groundbait feeder and a pellet on the hook for bream.

Members only. A Dark Lane and Mopley season permit (nights included) is £100 for adults or £50 for OAP's, registered disabled or under 16s. Costs from April to March inc. Barbless hooks or micro barbed hooks only, no keepnets.

From Totton take the A326 southbound towards Fawley. At Holbury roundabout take the second exit into Long Corpse and continue over the junction, onto Southampton Lane towards Blackfield. At the next junction, turn left into Blackfield Road then right into Dark Lane. Continue on to the end of the road and the fishery entrance is on your left.
