This stream fed 28-peg pond is as natural as nature intended. A genuine mixed fishery, set on farmland, there are healthy stocks of carp to 28lb, bream and some cracking ide to 6lb, tench to 5lb, golden tench to 2lb 8oz, crucian carp, roach and rudd to 2lb, a few perch and occasional other species. Depths average 4.5ft.

Float fishing is probably favoured at this delightful venue. Baits like maggot, caster, soft pellet, luncheon meat, corn and chopped worm all produce a variety of species at varying times of the year.

Tickets on the bank, £6 for one rod and £1 per extra rod. Barbless hooks only, keepnets can be used but all fish must be returned by 4pm.

From Stokesley take the B1257 south east to Great Broughton. In Great Broughton turn left at the roundabout towards Ingleby Greenhow. Pass one left turn and take the next left turn heading towards a farm. Almost as quickly as you get on the farm track bear right to the fishery and car park. The fishery is about 1.5 miles from Great Broughton.
