Roche AC control the fishing at this scenic, well-established one-acre former stone quarry, aka Trerice Pool. This deep venue offers mixed sport with some fine perch topping 4lb. Also available are eels to 8lb, tench to 6lb, roach and rudd to 1lb 8oz with crucians and skimmers to 1lb.

Float fished lobworm fished over a bed of chopped worm may tempt some of the bigger perch, whilst corn, luncheon meat and peperami is ideal for the tench. Ledgering a few lobworms can yield good results for the big eels.

Fishing is for Roche AC members only. Adult membership is £85 for the year, with a one off joining fee of £50. OAP's/registered disabled are £42.50/£50, whilst u18s are £15 with no joining fee. U12s fish for free but must be accompanied by an adult. Membership also covers a lot of other venues and is available from www.roacheac.org.uk.

To get there, from the A30 at Indian Queens take the B3279 heading towards St Dennis. As you approach St Dennis, the venue is down the track, through the locked gate, on your left.
