Fishing is available at this privately owned one-acre oval shaped farm venue, gradually increasing in depth from 2ft by the access to 12ft at the other end. The fairly clear spring-fed waters hold carp all the way up to 18lb.

Also available are tench to 5lb plus some fine roach and rudd nudging the 2lb mark. Float or ledgered corn works well for the carp, as does bread and luncheon meat. On the coldest of days, a single grain of corn on a straight ledger is a good tactic, whilst on warm summer days floating baits such as dog biscuits or crust will work well.

Tickets must be purchased from the farmhouse on the way in. Barbless hooks only and no carp over 8lb in keepnets.

From Great Torrington take the B3322 towards Barnstaple. After a mile, turn right to the farmhouse, car park and fishery.
