Christchurch AC own the fishing on this members only six-acre gravel pit. Tree fringed with a central island, there are some very decent sized specimens here with carp running to 30lb, tench to 8lb, superb crucian carp to 4lb, roach and rudd to 2lb plus the occasional decent eel.
CAC fees (12 months from month of joining): Adults £140 plus a one off joining fee of £20, OAP's and registered disabled £95/£20, under 18s £55/£6, under 12s £10 (they must be accompanied by an adult member). Members can night fish with the appropriate night permit.
Membership is available from local tackle shops, for a CAC Application form tel: 01202 480009. Fishing one hour before sunrise to one hour after sunset. Disabled access. Barbless hooks only. No keepnets. Food outlets nearby. Toilets. From Ringwood take the A338 Salisbury Road heading towards Fordingbridge and Salisbury.
Go through Ibsley and pass Hucklesbrook Garage on the right. Turn left at the New Forest Water Park entrance and immediately left through the locked gate to the fishery and car park.
